Revival & Change Initiatives

Prayer 777 (a worldwide inititative of the Adventist Church)

Teens, Youth, Young Adults, Pathfinders, Adventurers, and anyone involved with Adventist Youth Ministries in Greater New York will be praying at 7:00 AM and at 7:00 PM every day of the year 2011. Join and recruit others to become part of the Generation that Prays 77.

Youth Days of Fasting & Prayer

Since 2004, our Adventist Youth Ministries Department has set several days apart, each year, with the objective that Youth and Young Adults of our Conference fast and pray to receive the power of the Holy Spirit to reach God’s City, My City. Following are the dates, designated for Prayer and Fasting for this year:

January 1
March 18
September 30

Praise & Prayer Summit

There is nothing more powerful than youth and young adults filled with strength and energy, who get together to praise God and to pray. Youth and Young Adults, in each area of the Greater New York Conference, will come together throughout the year to seek the Holy Spirit through praise and prayer.

The Praise & Prayer Summits will take place at central locations in each area (Bronx, Brooklyn, Long Island, Manhattan, Queens, Statent Island, Upstate New York). The dates for the Praise & Prayer Summits are:

February 12
April 2
June 4
October 1

Small Groups

We encourage anyone involved in Adventist Youth Ministries in Greater New York to become part of a Small Group which prays, sings, and studies the Bible, at least once per week.

It is ideal when the Small Group meets in a home, face to face. However, teens and younger youth face transporation challenges and parental curfews in a big city. If you cannot be part of Small Group that meets in a home, begin your own Small Group and meet online.

Online Small Groups

You can meet with your Small Group through Skype, Tokbox. These tools will help your small group to meet face to face, from the comfort of your home, without having to travel. For more info go to:
