JESUS (jeezess)

Who is Jesus?

Jesus is for sure the most extraordinary person who has ever walked this earth. Without doubt, Jesus is the most famous and at the same time, the most controversial person in world history. Just about everyone who has heard of His name, has an opinion about Him. In most cases people do not reject His existence; Jesus is a historical figure, which not many try to deny. These are some of the opinions about Jesus and who He is:

- The Encarta Dictionary describes Jesus as the founder of Christianity; a Jewish religious teacher who lived from about 4 BC to AD 33. His life and teachings form the basis of Christianity.
- Most Jews believe Jesus to have been one of the greatest Hebrews who ever lived, while not accepting that He is God.
- Non-Christians, even many of the enemies of the Christian faith, have at times paid tribute to the achievements of Jesus, as a great religious teacher, eminent philosopher, the upmost example of humanity, an impressively good man who lived and died.
- Christians say that Jesus is their Savior and Lord, the Son of God, many believe He is God.
