I Accepted Jesus, What is Next?
|
Congratulations!!! You have accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord; now you are ready to become a member of the family of God, you are also experiencing the beginning of your Christian experience. Perhaps you are wondering what comes next, please read the following:
Begin to read the Bible, the Bible is God’s Book; it reveals the love of Jesus for you and His plan that you may have an abundant life. Read a passage every day.
Keep on talking to Jesus, it’s called prayer. Talk to Him, as you talk to a friend. Tell Him about yourself and ask Him for help as you go about your daily life.

Be Baptized: The Bible says: “He that believes and is baptized will be saved…” (Mark 16:16). Baptism is the new birth; once you get baptized you become a member of the family of Christ here on earth, a member of the body of Christ, which is the church.

After you accept Jesus and get baptized, God will give you the strength to be faithful to Him. Stay connected to Him through prayer and reading the Bible, by meeting at church with other believers, and by using your Spiritual Gifts, given by Him. You will notice a continual positive change in your life, joy, and abundant blessings.
A successful life, only made possible by Jesus, awaits you.
